We Love Little Locals!
Your First Visit
We can’t wait to meet you!
When you visit Local Church, our friendly Greeting Team will be happy to show you where the Local Kids Check-In station is. There, our check-in host will meet your family, check in your little one, and answer any questions you may have. They will take down your basic information and ask about allergies and special needs, then show you the room where your kids will be learning. You can start checking your Little Locals in 15 minutes before each service starts.
After your Little Local is checked-in and settled in their room, you can make your way to the cafe, pick up a free cup of coffee and a bagel, and grab a seat in the auditorium. If there is any issue that needs your attention, our volunteers will send you a text or discreetly contact you during the service.
What we offer
Our Kids area is organized into three areas:
Nursery: Babies + Toddlers
Pre-School: Pre-K
Elementary: K through 6th
Safety
Your child’s safety is our top priority.
We’ve designed our Local Kids space to be an environment where families can confidently leave their little locals while they enjoy service in the auditorium. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and each room is monitored with security cameras. Don’t worry parents – we’ve got this!
What to Expect
Our goal is to partner with parents to inspire Little Locals to follow Jesus!
Your kids will experience a fun, age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. Our goal is for every little local to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives when they choose to follow Him. Simply put we love having fun, learning about Jesus, and getting to know each other! And we always keep in mind that Local Church is here to help parents, not replace them. Your kids are going to love it at Local Church!
The Ride Home
We’ll help you engage with your Child’s faith!
On your way home, be sure to ask your child questions like, “Did you have fun?” and “What did you learn today?” It’s our goal that every child has a positive answer to these two questions, every week!
