On September 8th, we’re celebrating the start of the new school year in style!
There will be a family photo opportunity, gifts for teachers, and a pop-up celebration for all the Little Locals transitioning to new classrooms in Local Kids.
It will be like one big party!
Services start at 9:30am and 11:00am.
Come out to Local Church on Sunday, September 8th @ 9:30am or 11:00am for a fun, safe day of family fun.
This event is 100% free
and open to the public!

When you plan your visit and let us know you’re coming we will:

✅ help you get your kids checked in
✅ introduce you around to a few people
✅ save you seats
✅ we’ll even sit with you if you want (so you don’t have to sit by yourself)
We want to make sure your first visit is as smooth and easy as possible, and actually take time to get to know you and your family.

Hey!
We are Michael and Emily Liebler. Our friends call us Mike & Em. We are Long Island natives, high school sweethearts, and passionate about inspiring Long Islanders to follow Jesus.
Local Church was a dream that started in our hearts as teenagers, but it took 5 years of working on cruise ships and 5 years working at a church in the mid-west before we finally decided to head back to Long Island to start a new church in the fall of 2021.
Now, Local Church is a thriving community of Long Islanders in every stage of faith: exploring, starting, and growing.
Everyone deserves to have a church where they can feel safe, supported, and encouraged in whatever stage of their faith journey they’re in. So, if you don’t have something like that already, we would love to invite you to visit Local Church!

Reading the Bible is one thing. Understanding it's another. When you can do both, it's truly life changing. God speaks to us through it, so let’s learn How to Study the Bible together.
Sometimes, we face battles that no one else can see. So, what do we do when we don’t understand what we’re feeling and hope seems far away? In Peace of Mind, we’ll talk about how to fight our mental battles and find peace.
